The course focuses on the basic rules that may apply when the conditions for contracts change during the contract period, for example, the rules on EAT work, equivalent work, obstacles and significant disruption. These rules are reviewed very carefully and with several examples from real life. In connection with the review of these rules, great emphasis is placed on how the contractor must substantiate and present requirements for disputes to be avoided and, if a dispute arises, how the contractor will be heard for his claims. The reason is that the outcome of disputes seldom depends on legal arguments but as a rule on how well a contractor can substantiate claims regarding additional compensation and time extension. In addition, a review is made of the differences between AB and ABT as well as the most important rules regarding liability and inspection. The course uses the templates and other tools that the client uses. If there is a need for changes to these, proposals for alternative working methods and templates are presented. If the starting point for the course is AB 04 or ABT 06, it is governed by the standard agreement which the client uses the most.
